Beginner and elementary levels

These classes are intended for people who know little or no French, but who have a standard knowledge of our alphabet.

Living in Belgium becomes much easier when you acquire some basic language skills. Soon you’ll be able to:

  • introduce yourself: your name, your family, your tastes, your choices
  • rent, buy, sell a car, a bicycle, a house
  • situate yourself: asks and give directions, talk about the weather, ask for the time
  • ask for information at the municipality offices, the unemployment office, the CPAS
  • make appointments and phone calls
  • understand and write a letter, a document
